Across all its platforms, Facebook introduced its instant stories that are exact replicas of what Snapchat was and still is. Visuals (pictures and videos) which disappear after twenty-four hours.

The tech company run by Mark Zuckerberg first introduced this functionality on Instagram – referring to it as Insta-story. It then replicated it on to its other products: Facebook App, Messenger and WhatsApp.
