Cubana Chief Priest has boasted that he’s making effort alongside Obi Cubana and E-Money to buy Twitter from Elon Musk, the billionaire business magnate.
Musk’s most recent passion project has been his $44 billion acquisition of the microblogging platform.
Cubana took to his Twitter page to state that he will team up with his billionaire friends from the eastern part of Nigeria to acquire Twitter from Musk at a higher price of $70 billion.
“We are making progress on submitting our offer to acquire Twitter from Elon Musk, with $70B. Billionaires from the East comprising myself, Obi and E-Money and the rest, we are coming,” the socialite wrote.

It remains to be seen if Cubana and friends have such an amount capable of acquiring Twitter.
Musk had earlier stated that he’s not buying Twitter to make money but to protect free speech.
“Free speech is the bedrock of a functioning democracy, and Twitter is the digital town square where matters vital to the future of humanity are debated,” he wrote in a statement to announce the deal.
“I also want to make Twitter better than ever by enhancing the product with new features, making the algorithms open source to increase trust, defeating the spambots, and authenticating all humans.”
Aged 50, Musk, who serves as CEO of Tesla, the electric car maker, and SpaceX, the spaceflight firm, had overtaken Amazon’s Jeff Bezos to become the world’s top billionaire in 2021.
According to Forbes real-time billionaires list, Musk’s net worth stood at $239.2 billion.
