A pastor has been spotted encouraging her congregation to boogie down to the secular tunes of Teni’s ‘Case’.
In a now-viral video, the cleric, who is a middle-aged woman, began grooving to the song as the choir sang on, with her eyes mildly shut as she swayed to the melody of the monster hit.
She then recovered from her spirited trance to wave to the congregation to join in the rendition.
The congregation dutifully responded as they amplified the song further with their voices while dancing.
The heightened choir members hitched the song even longer while unwittingly belching out lines like “I go slap Agbero, for your case/ I go call MC Oluomo, I go report all of them.”
‘Case’ by Teni is a club-banger hit released in 2018.
The music foretold the brilliant that the singer bellies and was to unleash in a few years to come.
