Nkechi Blessing, the Nollywood actress, has joked about becoming the seventh wife of Adeyeye Ogunwusi, the Ooni of Ife.
The monarch has been in the news in recent times for marrying several women.
Last Monday, the Ooni took Temitope Adesegun, the Ijebu princess, as his sixth wife.
The development has continued to elicit reactions on social media platforms.
Joining the conversation, Blessing took to her Instagram page on Saturday to share a photo of herself with the monarch at an event.
In a terse post accompanying the photo, the actress said “I am patiently waiting for my turn”.
“Ooni of Ife sir, I am patiently waiting for my turn..thank you in advance sir,” she wrote.
Blessing is known for her controversial personality. She made the headlines following her messy split from Opeyemi Falegan, the politician.
The film star recently flaunted her new lover with a lovey-dovey video and a touching note.
“I was going to type a long caption, but I rather say them to you. Thank you for coming into my life when I needed a friend,” she had written.
“In just a few months, you have changed a few things about me. I am in for a long ride of teachings with you babe.
“Sometimes, I wonder if you are really your age because, bruh, your maturity swept me off my feet. The greatest and best communicator I have ever met. Love you for life my gee.”
