Hafeez Adedigba, the Ibadan-based cab driver, has found an eccentric solution to cope with the rainy season.

The father of four was recently spotted driving while wearing a woman’s outfit in the Oyo state capital — sparking curiosity and criticism.

In a recent interview with content creator Ayo Adams, Adedigba revealed why he chose to be a crossdresser.

“During heavy rainfall, my clothes get soaked while driving,” he said. “I change into my wife’s dress to stay dry and comfortable. I switched back to my clothes when the rain stopped.”

The cab driver revealed that he had discussed his decision with his wife, who agreed to let him use her dresses.

He also dismissed public criticism, stating that he was only focused on providing for his family.

“Although people speak against it, I do not care about whatever they say because I remain focused on what I do. I have only one wife and I have four children,” the cab driver said.

“I have been driving a cab for many years. We are only praying to God to show us mercy. From a young age, I learnt how to trade tyres. But when things did not go well for me I had to switch to driving a taxi.

“As for my clothes, I have about two that I wear. When I took it from home, I told her I wanted to use it in my car and she agreed. I do not fight with people. Whoever is looking for money does not fight. The scar on my chest was from an accident I had.”
