Don Jazzy, a Nigerian singer and record producer, has declared himself a member of the ‘Stingy Men Association (SMA)’.

‘Stingy Men Association’ is another arm of Nigerian men created by social media users to catch fun on the microblogging platform.

Unlike the ‘Sweet Boys Association’ that trended in 2018, which was used to describe a prestigious league of well-mannered and ambitious gentlemen, the main aim of SMA is to spend nothing or less on ladies who don’t deserve their money.

Since it began to trend on social media days ago, many Nigerian men have shown their interest in the association, with many sharing their identity cards and others asking how they can become a member.

Joining the bandwagon, the Mavin record boss took to his Twitter page on Monday to announce that he has joined SMA.

He also shared an ID card bearing his photo and his personal details alongside a caption which read: “Registration Complete.”

According to the card, the 38-year-old singer is the ‘head of union’ in the Lagos branch while the motto is “let me see what I can do”.

Other Nigerian men quickly joined the trend and shared their identity cards bearing different designations and locations.
