Erica to fans: Accept my relationship with Kiddwaya failed and move on

Erica Nlewedim, ex-housemate of the BBNaija reality TV, has taken a swipe at fans who criticised her after she was spotted with Kiddwaya despite their failed relationship.

The actress spoke of her experience dealing with fans’ expectations among other issues on ‘Inside Life with Erica’, her reality show on MTV Base.

Erica and Kiddwaya were among the most discussed housemates at the ‘Lockdown’ edition of the show over the relationship between them.

But their romantic relationship crashed shortly after the show ended.

This didn’t go down well with a number of their fans who craved to see the reality TV stars together.

Erica had also reconnected with Kiddwaya, Praise and Dorathy, her friends from last year’s edition of the show, during her recent visit to Abuja.

The development had rankled some of her fans, who trolled her for associating with the “enemy”.

But speaking during the show, Erica wondered why fans expected her to nurse hatred for Kiddwaya because their relationship didn’t work out as planned.

“I had a relationship with Kidd, it didn’t work out and we’re back to being friends, why can’t everyone just accept that and move on? I don’t like the fact that people expect me to live in enmity, life is too stressful, I can’t add hate to it,” she said.

Erica’s comment comes months after Kiddwaya also blasted one of her supposed fans who allegedly threatened him for not showing the needed commitment to keep the relationship.
