The movie star took to her Twitter page on Thursday to reveal that her direct message (DM) is filled with “depressing messages”.

Ojo also lamented that “people are really suffering” in the country, adding that everything has “become a daily struggle.”

“People are really suffering, It’s a daily struggle these days. My dear country, if Nigeria gets it wrong again in 2023, this nation will bleed,” she wrote.

“I’m so scared to even open my DM’s bcos 90% of the messages are depressing.”

The general elections will kick off in February.

Several figures in the entertainment industry, as well as brand influencers, have been vocal about their preferred candidates.

Some of them, however, remain on the fence while also using their platforms to sensitise the citizens on the need to get their permanent voters card (PVC).

Ojo is yet to endorse any presidential candidate of choice.

Ahead of February 25 election, there are three major candidates leading the 2023 presidential race.

They include Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP).
