Lanre ‘eLDee‘ Dabiri, an entertainer and entrepreneur, is coming out of music retirement to perform at the upcoming Grown & Sexy concert.
The concert which is scheduled for December 30 will feature a cross-section of singers who ruled the music scene in the early 2000s.
Styl Plus, Seyi Sodimu, Olu Maintain and Paul Play Dairo are among the headline acts while MI Abaga and Brymo are the guest artistes.
eLDee, now an Atlanta-based IT consultant, said he looks forward to performing for his fans have “constantly” nudged him to return to the music scene.
“On December 30, 2018 I’m coming out of retirement for one special occasion,” the Trybe Records and Playdata founder posted on Instagram.
“A night for the fans who have consistently asked me for a comeback. It’s going to be a movie.”
The Grown & Sexy concert is billed to take place at EKO Hotels & Suites, Lagos.
eLDee is an original member of Trybesmen, a band which he co-founded in 1998 with rappers KB and Freestyle.
The 41-year-old entertainer has released five solo albums.
