Eucharia Anunobi, the Nollywood actress turned evangelist, says drunkards “shall never enter the kingdom of God.”
In a video posted on her Instagram page, the 56-year-old film star preached against alcohol consumption and extortionist.
She also took a hit at people who drink excessively and thereafter ask for funds when they are sick.
“You will see alcohol, drink, and want to finish it. When you damage your liver, next thing you will come and say we should raise funds for you. Meanwhile, you were the one that carried your hand to drink beer and alcohol. Drunkards, extortioners shall never enter the kingdom of God,” Anunobi can be heard saying while making reference to a passage in the Bible.
“When you are a drunkard, you cannot be in health because your spirit and your mind will be nervous. (Alcohol) will cause you to have high blood pressure.”
Born in Owerri, Imo state, Eucharia had, after secondary education, proceeded to the Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Enugu where she graduated with a national diploma in Mass Communication.
She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree after studying the English Language at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
Eucharia came into the limelight for her role in the movie series ‘Glamour Girls’ in 1994.
She has gone on to star in hundreds of movies including ‘Abuja Connection’ and ‘Letters to a Stranger’.
The actress had earlier narrated her educational journey after acquiring a doctorate degree in Christian theology.
