Niniola Apata, popular Nigerian singer, has been generating buzz beyond the shores of Africa with her music lately, with the latest recognition coming from Drake, a Canadian rapper.

The multiple award-winning songstress shared a post on her Instagram page where Drizzy is heard requesting her hit song ‘Maradona‘ be played on BBC’s 1Xtra Rap Show.

The hip-hop series is helmed by Tiffany Calver, a British disc jockey. The OVO boss who just concluded his seven-night run at the O2 Arena, London where he had guest performances from the likes of Wizkid and J.Cole and many more served as co-host in this special episode.

In the post, the ‘God’s Plan’ singer teases his co-host, calling her the ‘Queen of Rap Radio’ and later requests ‘Maradona’ be played.

Barely a week ago, the ‘Designer’ crooner announced that the Grammy award-winning artiste followed her on Instagram.

Drake is not the only international artiste to recognise her talent.

Some weeks ago, Timbaland, American music producer, was seen in a video that surfaced online, bopping to her new single ‘Designer’ which she recently released its visuals.
