The singer announced the release of the latest song across her social media platforms on Friday.

In the less than three-minute track produced by V-Teks, Yemi straddles the bouncy junction of Afrobeats and Dancehall with lyrics roll in Jamaican patois.

She jumps straight to action on the track, repeating the word “baddie” with a chant-like consistency.

The 33-year-old also continues to express her intention to spoil her lover in the chorus.

“You know you make me wanna spend all my pounds on you/ Jump on your ones and two spend all my dollars on you (Baddie baddie)/ You know you make me wanna give up my time for you/ Galala dance for you,” she sings.

The song comes almost a month after the singer dropped ‘Bubble It’, which featured Spice, the Jamaican singer.

Yemi became popular after she put out ‘Johnny’, her 2014 hit single.

Since then, the Afropop singer has gained prominence in the music industry, won multiple awards over the years, and embarked on world tours consecutively for her albums.

Following her feature on ‘Lion King’, Beyonce’s 2019 album, Alade signed a licensing deal with Universal Music Group (UMG) Africa as an exclusive worldwide record music partner with Effyzzie Music Group, her label.
