TwoTapp, the British-Nigerian, has joined forces with Portable, the Nigerian singer, on a new single titled ‘Yo Fam’.
The song was released on streaming platforms on Thursday.
In ‘Yo Fam’, TwoTapp weaves together English and Yoruba effortlessly in his lyrics.
“Fine girl oya gbe soke, you wan chop my life shey I was born today? Chop life you dey whine, you dey crazy make I run from sin everyday I dey pray,” the lyrics read.
Portable also adds his signature flavour to the song with lines like, “E no matter where you come from yo, shake your body fam, yo fam olowo lo dorime fam”.
TwoTapp, born Kadeem Frazer, is a rising star known for his “Amadrillo” sound, a fusion of Drill and Amapiano.
Originally from the UK, he built his fanbase through cover songs before releasing his tracks like ‘Section 46’ and ‘Back In Blood’.
Portable, on the other hand, gained fame in December 2021 after the release of ‘Zazoo Zeh’, his hit single featuring Olamide and Poco Lee.
He has also put out hit tracks like ‘All Eyes On Me’, ‘Clear Azaman’, ‘Neighbour’, and ‘Ogo Forever’.
Since breaking out, he has garnered attention for controversies.
