Tiwa Savage, a Nigerian singer-cum-songwriter, has released ‘Koroba’, her latest single.

The music star took to her social media page to announce the release of the project.

The less than three-minute song sees the singer reflecting on deeply-rooted societal ills in the country’s polity, including politicians’ knack for looting public wealth for personal use.

It also sees the ‘44-99‘ singer doing a critique of the get-rich-quick syndrome among Nigerians and how the mindset has stiffed national development.

“I no come this life to suffer. If I follow politician, you go hear am for paper.
Them go call am prostitution, who no like enjoyment? If money dey for pocket. Shebi na National budget e o? We go blow am like trumpet,” she could be heard singing.

“I no mean to bother you, at all. Monkey dey work bamboo dey chop Kilamity tell me say you talk and do oga

The singer has established herself as a prominent figure in the Nigerian entertainment industry with strings of beautiful projects.

Tiwa had left Don Jazzy’s Mavin Records in 2019 and joined the Universal Music Group (UMG), a US music company that boasts of artistes like Rihanna, Taylor Swift, and Lady Gaga.
