Terry Akewe, the Starboy singer better known as Terri, has come through with ‘Money’, his latest single.
The musician, who turned 22 today, announced the release of the project featuring Mohbad, indigenous rapper, and Bella Shmurda, another fast-rising singer.
The artists can be heard glorifying the importance of money — in a mix of Pidgin, Yoruba and English language — on the track.
Terri’s verse is on how money is necessary to maintain romantic and sexual relationships.
“More money, more money| Anything wey better pass money na more money| Na the remedy, remedy| Too many nonsense na yamayama,” he sings.
The ‘Bia’ singer started his professional music career after he gained the attention of Wizkid, Grammy award-winner, in 2018.
The young musician was rewarded with a record deal on Wizkid’s Starboy imprint, after which he featured with other label mates on ‘Soco’.
