Tekno, the Nigerian singer, has come through with his latest singles titled ‘No Forget’ and ‘Gon Gon’.
The singer announced the new releases via his social media pages on Friday.
In ‘Gon Gon’, Tekno croons about his love for a lady who he never thought he could be attracted to.
‘No Forget’ sees the singer expressing his love for his partner Julie who he said stood by him during his trying times.
“She say no forget/ All the things wey you been promise/ When you been dey for red/ Girl I no forget/ Cus na only you been believe me/ When I been dey process/ Cannot let you waka/ Thing you do with baka/ Julie, my womie/ Nothing I no fit do for you truly/ Only you be the baby I want,” he sings
Tekno started music quite early. At the age of 8, he was enrolled in a music school where he learned and mastered the rudiments of playing the piano and guitar.
He began to earn fame in the music industry after he put out his first single titled ‘Holiday’ in 2013.
He has released other hit songs including ‘Pana’, ‘Enjoy’, ‘Skeletun’, and ‘Diana’.
The singer has also received several awards and recognition for his craft.
In February 2023, Curtis Jackson, the US rapper better known as 50 Cent, hailed the Nigerian artiste for sampling one of his songs.
Tekno sampled the American rapper’s 2003 hit single ‘In Da Club’ in his 2017 track ‘GO’.
