Crown Uzama, the Nigerian singer better known as Shallipopi, has collaborated with Grammy winner Burna Boy for a new version of his hit song ‘Laho’.
The singer announced the song’s release via Instagram in the early hours of Friday.
In ‘Laho II,’ Shallipopi flexes his Afrobeats mastery, blending razor-sharp bars with infectious rhythms while Burna Boy elevates the sound with his signature voice.
“Desperado, many many / My amigo, Balotelli / Ladies taking me photo (Confirm) / Paparazzi, ah / Don Julio, don dey high me / Ah, ah,” the lyrics read.

Shallipopi rose to fame after releasing his first single ‘Elon Musk’ in March 2023.
In October 2023, Shallipopi launched Plutomania Records, his record label. He also signed Tega Boi and Zerrydl.
The song ‘Laho’, released on February 21, marked his first official single under his independent label following his departure from Dapper Music over alleged financial mismanagement.
Born Damini Ogulu, Burna Boy gained fame after releasing ‘Like to Party’, the lead single from his debut album ‘L.I.F.E’ (2013).
The Port Harcourt-born singer has also won several awards. In 2021, the Afro-fusion artiste won the ‘Best World Music Album’ category at the Grammy Awards for ‘Twice As Tall’.
