Rema, the Nigerian singer, has put out the remix for ‘Calm Down’, his hit single, featuring Selena Gomez, the US songstress.

The ‘Dumebi’ crooner announced the release of the song on Friday — as planned — via his social media pages.

Rema revealed that the song “is special to me” while appreciating “our supporters”.

“Finally Calm Down with @selenagomez is out now! This one’s special to me, big ups to our supporters. Now let’s take this to a whole new level together,” the singer wrote.

The remix comes a few days after Gomez was seen kissing Rema’s cheeks after his performance in the United States.

Rema, whose real name is Divine Ikubor, has been enjoying massive reception from music lovers since he came into the limelight.

The singer has also won several awards and recognition since he became popular.

In 2019, he won the ‘Next Rated’ gong and was nominated for Viewer’s Choice at the 13th edition of The Headies.

He received the Soundcity MVP Awards for ‘Best New Artist’ in 2020.

Rema was also nominated alongside Burna Boy and Wizkid in the ‘Best Viewers Choice: International Act’ category at the 2020 BET Awards.
