The four-track EP was dropped on Friday and comes after the debut of his immediate past body of work entitled ‘Freestyle EP‘.

‘Bad Commando’, named after its lead track, encompasses three other tracks: ‘Lady’, ‘Rewind’, and ‘Spaceship Jocelyn’. It is also accompanied by a befitting video.

In June, Rema became the first Nigerian artist to debut five top songs on Apple Music streaming platform and also revealed he made records on the Trap charts with songs off his ‘Rema’ EP.

The 18-year-old rapper also bagged several nominations alongside Burna Boy and Wizkid at the 2019 African Muzik Magazine Awards (AFRIMMA) as well as the recently released 2019 Headies nominees list.

‘Iron Man’, Rema’s single also featured on Barack Obama’s 2019 summer playlist among 43 other songs of different genres from across the world.

In the event of his signing, D’Prince CEO of Jonzing World, said: “When I first heard Rema’s work I knew this was an artist I wanted the entire world listening to; his talent and artistry are so far beyond his years.”

Don Jazzy, while celebrating the 7th anniversary of Mavin Records, his label, had also described the young singer as a formidable artiste whose skills and versatility would gain a unique place in the future of Afrobeats.
