Reekado Banks, the Nigerian singer, has come through with a new single titled ‘Jeun To Da (JTD)’.

The song was released on streaming platforms in the early hours of Friday.

The less than three-minute track sees the music star imploring people to always give themselves accolades after working work to achieve any of their goals.

“Jeun to da si nu/ My brother my sister/ Jeun to da si kun/ You no lazy if you tire/ You don do the one you fit do/ My brother my sister/ Jeun to da si kun/ No kill yourself cos tomorrow still dey oo/ You don do the one wey you fit do/ If you get chance to chop life/ My brother chop am well o/ Cos u deserve am gan/ If you de work work work/ Sip, easy does it my brother man/ My brother man/ Rest assured that you’ve done all what you can,” he sings in Pidgin and Yoruba.

‘Jeun To Da’ comes a few months after the release of his widely-accepted hit song ‘Ozumba Mbadiwe’.

Reekado Banks, whose real name is Ayoleyi Solomon, had signed with Mavin Records, a label owned by Don Jazzy, the music producer, in 2014 but left four years later.

The singer has continued to enjoy fame while working with other prominent individuals including Korede Bello, Di’Ja, Dr SID, and D’Prince.
