Oxlade, the Nigerian singer, has come through with ‘Bad Boy’, a new single featuring Mayorkun.
The ‘Kulosa’ singer announced the release of the song after a week of teasing it via his social media pages.
In ‘Bad Boy’, Oxlade sings about his lust for a “reckless living” and being among the “bad boys”.
Born Ikuforiji Abdulrahman, Oxlade rose to prominence with the release of ‘Away’, his 2020 hit single.
The hit also appeared on Rolling Stone as one of the 50 best songs of 2020, nudging him into the limelight.
Oxlade has since made a name for himself in the Nigerian music industry.
He is signed to Troniq Music, Epic Records in France, and Columbia Records in the UK.
The 25-year-old has two EPs to his credit, including ‘Oxygene’ released in 2020, and ‘Eclipse’ put out in 2021.
Mayorkun, on the other hand, gained popularity after ‘The Mayor of Lagos,’ his debut album.
The studio project featured D’banj, Davido, and Patoranking among others.
Mayorkun has similarly done well for himself in the music hustle.
He has bagged several awards including the ‘Next Rated’ gong at the 2018 edition of The Headies.
The singer was named ‘Artiste of the Year’ in 2017 after an impressive run.
