Jude Abaga, Nigerian singer and record executive better known as MI, has joined forces with AQ, a fellow rapper, for a new body of work entitled ‘The Live Report’.
The EP, which was released on Wednesday, embodies six tracks with production credits to Beats by Jayy. The entire project was, however, mixed and mastered by Abaga.
Among the tracks in the body of work are ‘Tone of the Conversation’, ‘The Life Report’, ‘Jesus Said Use Your Head’, ‘Clap for Yourself’, ‘When I’m Gone’ and ‘Braveheart’.
The project, which also features Big Daddy Jayy, comes after Abaga’s ‘Judah EP’ and shortly after he had collaborated with Mayorkun for ‘Geng Remix‘ EP alongside Vector.
MI had earlier exited Chocolatecity, saying: “It is time to do a new thing. I’m grateful for everything that was. I think right now, it is time for incredible music and for MI to move.”
For AQ, who won the ‘Lyricist on the Roll’ category for ‘Crown’ at the 13th edition of The Headies, the collaborative release follows a 2018 joint project with the Chocolatecity rapper Loose Kaynon.
