Sunday Nweke, Nigerian songwriter and record producer better known as Masterkraft, has released ‘Egbon’, his highly anticipated song with Phyno, an indigenous rapper.
The award-winning music producer announced the release of the track on his Twitter page on Friday.
In the less than four-minute song, the duo eulogise themselves in Igbo language while painting a picture of successful and independent men.
“Asaokwa e fe le ki ji eme onu| Okwa? ka n na wuo onu| ya ki ji a pa mayam ko my fault| Nwa bata godi ka m gbun yi onu| Haa osim egbon| e ma na m bu senior man| Haa n ta gi ife egbon| Aburum a minute man egbon,” Phyno melodically raps in Igbo.
Masterkraft started his professional music career with Kennis Music and has worked with artists such as Flavour, Bracket, Banky W, Sound Sultan and Timaya.
He has won several awards including music producer of the year at the City People Entertainment awards in 2015.
