Master KG, South African musician and record producer, has released the remix for ‘Jerusalema’, his 2019 hit song, featuring Burna boy and Nomcebo Zikode.

The gifted singer took to his social media page to announce the release of the project to his numerous fans.

The five-minute project sees Burna Boy adding colour to the original version of the track by singing in a mixture of Zulu, a popular language in South Africa, and Pidgin.

The ‘African Giant’ crooner would later extol Nomcebo, a South African singer, for her wonderful contribution to the remix of the song.

“You Really killed it @Nomcebozikode! I loved the original as well,” he wrote on Twitter.

‘Jerusalema’ comes on the backdrop of the success recorded by ‘Skeleton Move’, Master KG’s 2018 hit single, which became a sensation across many African countries including Nigeria.

It also marks another chapter in Burna Boy’s continued rise to prominence.

With many awards and recognition to his name, the Nigerian singer has continued to pull the strings with numerous beautiful projects and collaborations with global music heavyweights.

TheCable had earlier reported how the ‘Ye’ singer was nominated for the ‘Best International Act’ plaque of the 2020 BET Awards — after winning the category in 2019.
