Lonair, the fast-rising Nigerian singer, has come through with ‘Casamigos’, his new single featuring Bella Shmurda.
The song, released on Friday, is a track off ‘Cramps’, the singer’s forthcoming extended play (EP).
In ‘Casamigos’ a Spanish term for “house of friends”, the singers combine two distinct sounds infused with pulsating beats and melodies.
They croon about the beauty of friendship. The trust, goodwill, and solidarity that people have when with good friends.
Bella also weaves through his lines with his dynamic vocals, adding flavor to the instrumentals with his unique style of music.
Born Onorute Brilliant, Lonair began his music career many years ago as a Baptist Group of Schools student. He was a member of the church choir.
He started professional music in 2010 under the alias BMAN but rebranded as Lonair and was signed under 420 Records.
The 21-year-old is set to put out ‘Cramps’, his new EP, but is yet to announce its release date.
Bella, on the other hand, began his career in 2019 after releasing ‘Vision 2020’, his hit single.
In 2020, he released ‘Cash App’, which featured Zlatan Ibile and Lincoln.
The song shot him into the limelight and earned him the ‘Next Rated’ category nomination at the 14th edition of The Headies.
