Justin Timberlake, the American singer, has recruited Fireboy DML, the Nigerian artiste, for ‘Everything I Thought It Was’, his sixth studio album.
The 43-year-old singer announced the release of the 18-track project across all streaming platforms on Friday.
Timberlake and Fireboy teamed up for ‘Liar’, the seventh track on the album.
Other artistes featured on the album include NSYNC and Tobe Nwigwe.
Songs on the body of work are: ‘Memphis’, ‘F*****g Up The Disco’, ‘No Angels’, ‘Play’, ‘Technicolor’, ‘Drown’, ‘Liar’, and ‘Infinity Sex’.
Others include: ‘Love and War’, ‘Sanctified’, ‘My Favorite Drug’, ‘Flame’, ‘Imagination’, ‘What Lovers Do’, ‘Selfish’, ‘Alone’, ‘Paradise’ and ‘Conditions’.
‘Everything I Thought It Was’ comes six years after the singer’s last body of work was released.
Timberlake began his career in the 1990s as a member of NYSNC, the boyband, before going solo in 2002.
The ‘Can’t Stop The Feeling’ singer has put out five other studio albums including ‘Justified’ (2002), ‘Future Sex/Love Sounds’ (2006), ‘The 20/20 Experience’ (2013), ‘The 20/20 Experience 2 of 2’ (2013) and ‘Man of the Woods’ (2018).
Since breaking into the limelight, Fireboy has continued to enjoy fame in the Nigerian music industry.
He released ‘Someone’, his first single of the year, in May.
He has also received several awards and recognitions for his craft.
