Johnny Drille, the Nigerian alternate singer, has put out his much-awaited extended play (EP) titled ‘Home’.

The music star announced the release of the EP via social media in the early hours of Friday.

Drille also described the six-track project as a “piece of my heart in words and letters”.

“Hey, I’ve made this specially for you, a piece of my heart in words and letters, some of the best songs I ever made with some of the most incredible artists, which I can’t wait to share with you,” he said.

Tracks in the body of work include ‘Home’, ‘Only God Knows’, ‘How are your, ‘Jumoke’, ‘Lover’ and ‘Journey of Our Lives’.

The project included guest appearances from Adekunle Gold, Phyno, and The Cavemen.

‘Home’ EP is coming a day after the musician released the single ‘Lover’.

The project is also a follow-up to his previously released debut album titled ‘Before We Fall Asleep’.

Born John Ighodaro, Drille got signed into Mavin Records in 2017 after his unique sound caught the attention of Don Jazzy

Since then he has released numerous singles that turned out to be successful with massive reception.

He has also received several awards and recognition for his craft. In 2019, he won the ‘Best Alternative Song’ award at The Headies.
