Johnny Drille, the Nigerian alternate singer, and music executive Don Jazzy have delivered a joint extended play (EP).
The seven-track EP titled ‘Hard Guy Confessions’ was released on streaming platforms on Wednesday.
“Tell me just a few years ago that I’d be making music with Don Jazzy and I’d laugh it off as a ridiculous joke but here we are,” he wrote on Instagram.
The project’s titles include ‘How Are You’, ‘Anyway’, ‘It Hurts’, ‘Hold Me’, ‘Spending’, ‘Believe Me’, and ‘Peace Of Mind’.
Drille had earlier released ‘Believe Me’ and ‘How Are You (My Friend)’.
Born John Ighodaro, the singer started his music career professionally after he featured on the sixth season of Project Fame West Africa in 2013.
In 2017, he got signed into Mavin Records after his unique sound caught the attention of Don Jazzy.
Since then, he has released numerous singles that turned out to be successful and received massive reception.
He has also received several awards and recognition for his craft. In 2019, he won the ‘Best Alternative Song’ award at The Headies.
Don Jazzy, on the other hand, is the head honcho of Mavin Records.
He has established himself as one of the most respected label owners and producers in the Nigerian music industry.
