Jay Electronica, American rapper, has come through with ‘A Written Testimony,’ his much-awaited debut studio album.

The record producer and songwriter took to his social media page on Friday to announce the release of the project to his numerous fans.

The 10-track project comes about 35 days after the gifted rapper had teased fans about when he would be dropping the body of work.

On February 6, the rapper had told fans he had been working on the project for the past 40 days with Jay-Z, fellow American rapper and his mentor, in the studio.

Among the tracks in the newly released project are ‘The Overwhelming Event’, ‘Ghost of Souja Slim’, ‘The Blinding’, ‘The Neverending Story’, ‘Shiny Suit Theory’, and ‘Universal Soldier’.

Others include ‘Flux Capacitor’, ‘Fruits of the Spirit’, ‘Ezekiel’s Wheel’, and ‘A.P.I.D.T.A’.

The album featured several artistes including Travis Scott and The-Dream.

Born on September 19, 1976, Jay Electronica, whose birth name is Timothy Elpadaro Thedford, kickstarted his rap career at the age of 10.

He came into spotlight after releasing ‘Act I: Eternal Sunshine (The Pledge)’ via MySpace and has continued to pull the strings in the global music landscape since then.
