The songwriter and instrumentalist announced the project’s release via his social media page on Friday.

“First official single of the year…’Sawanale’ out now on all platforms,” he wrote in a terse post on Instagram.

The less than four-minute project sees the musician crooning about his love for the good life despite the day-to-day challenges that come his way.

Harrysong also addresses the need for people to pay less attention to the opinions of others about them.

He cites the instance of how Sound Sultan was celebrated when he died when many did not care about him when he was alive.

“If you get money, spend it because time no dey. My friend if you get money, flex because time no dey, if dem talk too much and dem want proof much free them, empty drum make the loudest noise,” he sings.

“Light up your life, make sure it is good for your soul… positivity in the air, Sound Sultan trended the day he died, my heart was broken, how many times did he trend when he dey alive?”

The singer has established himself as a popular name in the country’s music landscape since he came into the spotlight with the release of ‘I’m In Love’ and ‘Taiye and Kehinde’, his two hit singles.

In March, he tied the knot with Alexer Peres Gopa, his fiancée, at a decorated ceremony in Warri, Delta state.
