Guchi, the fast-rising singer, has returned after a four-month hiatus with her latest single titled ‘No Touching’.
In the new track, Guchi reaffirms her unwavering belief in love, radiating joy and positivity that uniquely accompanies being in love.
‘No Touching’ is a tribute to the bliss and inspiration love brings, with Guchi describing her muse as a guiding light that has reignited her creative energy and reinforced her faith in love’s enduring magic.
The lyrics capture this sentiment: “Strings attaching to my needle, I for come pull up on you when I want to… I for done give up on love, but I got you. No touching baby, shey you go love me like that, shey you go want me like that, even if I say no flirting”.

Born Ugochi Lydia Onuoha, Guchi became known in the music scene after her 2021 single ‘Jennifer’ garnered massive attention.
She has released numerous hit songs including ‘Blood Tonic’, ‘All Over You’ and ‘Notice Me’.
Although her family is from Mbaise in Imo, Guchi was born in Kaduna. She, however, grew up in Abuja.
Her music has gained widespread recognition, earning her a nomination for the Rookie of the Year category at the 16th Headies.
In August 2023, Guchi spoke about how TikTok has helped in amplifying her music.
The singer said through TikTok, she has been able to showcase her passion, creativity, and originality to the world without “losing the essence of my Afrobeats roots”.
