Guchi, the Nigerian songstress, has come through with ‘Composure’, her highly anticipated song, featuring Masterkraft and Odumodublvck.
The song was released across streaming platforms on Wednesday.
In ‘Composure’, Guchi promises to stay true to herself despite the fame and the opportunities that come with it.
“I get style my guy/ But I no fit lose my composure/ All is in order/ Henessy no go push me for moisture/ Ahhh ojoro/ Oluwa don buy me/ Make I dey short down show/ Dem go dey hala my name/ I get style guy/ But I no fit to lose my composure/ All is in order,” she sings.
Born Ugochi Lydia Onuoha, Guchi rose to fame in 2021 following the release of her chart-topping single ‘Jennifer’.
The songstress has delivered numerous hit songs including ‘Blood Tonic’, ‘All Over You’ and ‘Notice Me’.
Guchi has also been recognized for her talent. In 2023, she earned a nomination for the Rookie of the Year category at the 16th Headies.
In August 2023, Guchi spoke about how TikTok has helped in amplifying her music.
The singer said through TikTok, she has been able to showcase her passion, creativity, and originality to the world without “losing the essence of my Afrobeats roots”.
