General Pype, the Nigerian reggae singer, has put out his new single titled ‘Mine Only’.

The song, produced by Izy Beats, is now available on streaming platforms.

The less than four-minute track, which is addressed to a perceived lover, sees General Pype talking about her genuine love for him — and not his money.

He also croons about wanting her by his side always, while saying he gets mesmerized by her body.

“She say no lele/ She want my body only/ She no dey care about the line line/ Only me she wanting at the night time/ Ye Ye/ Don’t want my money she want my time/ Whatever girl, we will be alright/ And at the night time when your body for me loving/ I will be right there any time,any minute,” the lyrics read.

Born Olayiwola Ibrahim Majekodunmi, the musician is acclaimed to be one of the pioneers of reggae and dancehall music in Nigeria.

In 2007, General Pype gained international recognition following the success of his first single, “Keep It Cool”.

The song was featured in the season six of the Golden Globe-winning American television drama series titled ‘The Shield.’
