Fireboy, the Nigerian singer, has come through with another remix for ‘Peru’, featuring 21 Savage and Blxst, the US rappers.
The solo version of ‘Peru’ was released in July 2021 through YBNL Nation and distributed by Empire.
Fireboy then followed up by remixing the hit song with Ed Sheeran, the Grammy-winning English singer.
On Friday, the singer released yet another remix featuring the US rappers.
Fireboy had earlier revealed that he was tipsy when he recorded the hit’s solo version.
The ‘Scatter’ crooner described ‘Peru’ as a story about his life and journey so far.
“It was my first time in the United States and I was supposed to go and see my associates at the empire and just vibe, pay a courtesy visit to Shizzi who produced the song in his studio,” he said.
“At the studio that night, I was tipsy and I just got in the booth. He played the beat.
“I was like, Um, that’s a vibe. In between 30 to 35 minutes, I was literally just singing my story. It’s just a young boy that found himself in a new place and is willing to just try out new stuff.”
Fireboy has put out two studio albums thus far which are ‘Laughter Tears, & Goosebumps’ (2019) and ‘Apollo’ (2020).
