Demi Lovato, the US singer and actress, has come through with her eighth studio album titled ‘Holy Fvck’.
The music star announced the release of the 16-track project via her social media handles on Friday.
Songs in the body of work include: ‘Freak’, ‘Skin of My Teeth’, ‘Substance’, ‘Eat Me’, ‘Holy Fvck’, ’29’, ‘Happy Ending’, ‘Heaven’, ‘City of Angels’, ‘Bones’, and ‘Wasted’.
Others are: ‘Come Together’, ‘Dear Friends’, ‘Help Me’, ‘Feed’, and ‘4 Ever Me’.
The project also features several artistes including Yungblud, the English singer; Royal & the Serpent, the US musician; and Dead Sara, the rock band.
In the album, the singer examines variegated themes such as religion and love.
The project also addresses the age difference between Lovato and Wilmer Valderrama, her ex-lover.
In ’29’, the singer reflects on how she started dating the actor — who was 12 years older than her — at the age of 17.
“Finally twenty-nine / Funny, just like you were at the time / Thought it was a teenage dream just a fantasy / But was it yours or was it mine? / Seventeen, twenty-nine,” she sings.
Lovato also aims a dig at Valderrama, who is now 42, and his new wife, Amanda Pacheco, who is 30.
“I see you’re quite the collector / Yeah, you’re twelve years her elder / Maybe now it doesn’t matter / But I know f—ing better,” she continues.
