D’banj, the Nigerian singer, has come through with his highly anticipated song titled ‘Since ’04’.

The singer released the song across streaming platforms on Friday.

In ‘Since ’04’, D’banj gushes about his music career spanning two decades.

The Koko Master also paid tribute to the former members of Mo’ Hits Records, a label he co-founded with Don Jazzy, the music producer, in 2006.

“Bad Boys since 04 I don’t know if you know/ I don’t care if you notice/ Ègbé ìṣù kọ́ni yàn/ Light up if you notice/  Mo’ Hits dem know this/ Bless the OGs/ I dey ball I dey throw cheese/ Dem dey do like sey dem dey pray make I no miss/ I be ọmọ ọgbọ́n wọn ń kọ́ni je bí ìyàn,” he sings in a mixture of Yoruba and English.

“24/7 me I still dey hustle for my raba/ We go still dey count/ What God cannot do/ Mio ni le gba ó/”

Born Oladapo Oyebanjo, D’banj rose to fame after the release of ‘No Long Thing’, his debut album in 2005.

With a string of awards and accolades, he has continued to make a name for himself in the music industry.

D’banj recently tendered an apology to his former label mates. He also shared pictures of himself chilling with Don Jazzy.

On April 12, he announced a partnership with The Temple Company, an entertainment powerhouse, to celebrate 20 years in the creative industry.
