The award-winning singer came through with ‘Champion Sound’, the much-awaited project, featuring Focalistic, the South African rapper, on Friday.

In the four-minute project, the ‘OBO’ singer croons about his career strides in the last decade, recounting how he has been bracing the odds.

“The way I’m feeling now…tell them make them calm down, 10 years and I have never gone down, when they see me, they frown…” he could be heard singing.

Davido also released a colourful video of the song featuring energetic dance steps.

The new track comes at about the same time when he called on his friends to donate for the clearance of his Rolls Royce vehicle at the ports.

Davido had earlier hinted that he might give the donated monies away — although he didn’t state who the beneficiaries will be.
