DOWNLOAD: Darkoo, Davido combine for ‘Right Now’

Darkoo, the Nigerian-British rapper, has teamed up with Davido, the Afrobeats star, for a new single titled ‘Right Now’.

The collaboration was announced via a joint Instagram post on Thursday, with the caption: “Darkoo x 001 out RIGHT NOW!”

A teaser of the track’s music video was also shared on social media.

In the song, the artistes exchange romantic lines, with lyrics like: “You got a lot of things I want to get involved with, you’re the kind of woman I want to have my kids with, don’t tease me baby girl, I need it baby girl ahn ahn ahn just bring it right here now.

“Girl I want more, I want more, give it up to me, take it up now, peel it off for me, eat it right now eat it right now, eat it right now.”

Born Oluwafisayo Isa, Darkoo delved into music at a young age and started her career as a drill rapper before she started singing.

She started gaining traction after the release of ‘Gangsta’ in 2019.

Darkoo was nominated for ‘Best Female Act’ and ‘Best Newcomer’, while ‘Gangsta’ was nominated for ‘Song of the Year’ at the 2020 Mobo Awards.

Davido, on the other hand, has firmly established himself as one of the prominent artistes out of Africa. He has also won several awards.
