CKay, the Nigerian singer, has released his latest single titled ‘Egwu Eji’.

The music star announced the song’s release via X on Friday.

‘Egwu Eji’ is CKay’s fourth single of the year, following the releases of ‘Mysterious Love’ and ‘Is It You’ in January, and ‘Wahala’, a collaboration with Olamide, in April.

In ‘Egwu Eji’, CKay sings about his love interest and the undeniable connection they share.

His lyrics also capture the excitement of their budding romance.

“Sexy is plenty, egwu eji, egwu eji, egwu eji, I don gauge, love at first sight, tales by moonlight, we could not deny, I saw you, you saw me, full of desire, frying pan to fire, one girl Beyoncé, two girl na choir,” he sings.

CKay rose to fame in 2019 with his hit song ‘Love Nwantiti’.

He was originally signed to Loopy Music, which later merged with Chocolate City in 2015.

Under the label, he released his second extended play ‘CKay the First’ which housed ‘Love Nwantiti’.

In 2021, CKay disclosed that he was not signed to Chocolate City but to Warner Music South Africa. He also recalled how he disobeyed his parents to pursue music.

He recently launched his record label, Boyfriend Music.
