CKay, the Nigerian singer, has delivered his second studio album titled ‘Emotions’.
The songwriter unveiled the project via social media on Friday.
“My second album EMOTIONS is finally out!! up & grateful like mad! Enjoy ☄️🧡✨,” he wrote.
The 12-track project features songs like ‘That Feeling’, ‘Egwu Eji’, ‘Ride or Die?’, ‘In My Bed’, ‘Fall In Luv’, ‘Dorime’, ‘Wahala’, ‘It’s True’, ‘Addicted’, ‘Mysterious Love’, ‘Vanity’, and ‘The Final Boss’.
CKay collaborated with Ty Dolla $ign, the US rapper; Olamide, the Nigerian rapper; The Cavemen, the highlife duo; and Nora Fatehi, the Canadian singer, in ‘Emotions’.
Before the album release, the singer dropped ‘Egwu Eji‘ on August 30, previously released ‘Mysterious Love’ and ‘Is It You’ in January, and ‘Wahala‘ with Olamide in April.
CKay rose to fame in 2019 with his hit song ‘Love Nwantiti’. He was originally signed to Loopy Music, which later merged with Chocolate City in 2015.
Under the label, he released his second extended play ‘CKay the First’ which housed ‘Love Nwantiti’.
In 2021, CKay disclosed that he was not signed to Chocolate City but to Warner Music South Africa. He also recalled how he disobeyed his parents to pursue music.
He recently launched his record label, Boyfriend Music.
