Charly Boy, the veteran Nigerian singer, has put out ‘Odudubariba’, his afore-announced musical film.

The project, which was accompanied by an audio version, debuted as scheduled on Tuesday.

The 71-year-old musician had earlier made his Nollywood debut in the Netflix series ‘King of Boys: the Return of the king’ where he played the character “Odudubariba”.

While earlier announcing the project, Doris Udensi, his manager, had said Charly Boy’s focus was “to take a break from street protest/peaceful demonstrations and put all that energy into conscious music.

“The single puts its spotlight on the position of Charly Boy as the king and pioneer of many positive changes that have taken place in the last 22 years in the entertainment space.

“Charly Boy, The Areafada, returns back like a king into the country after three months abroad of rebooting and vacationing to release his highly anticipated Odudubariba musical film.”

‘Odudubariba’ was directed by Akin Alabi, choreographed by Dr. Kaffy, and costumed by Modela.
