Burna Boy, the Afrofusion singer, has come through with his latest single titled ‘Big 7’.
The singer announced the release of the track alongside its music video in the early hours of Friday.
In ‘Big 7’, Burna Boy pays tribute to Virgil Abloh while urging people to think of their legacy
“Big 7 first of all/ rest in peace Virgil Abloh/ do not spill no drink on my clothes when I am Louis V dripping/ do not like stress in my zone man/ straight to the head I am 1942 sippin/ been wavy since morning/ mix my drink with a little molly,” he sings.
“Wavy since London/ wavy since morning/ so ne dey talk to me in public/ I am In different place/ if you see me tonight/ you can see that I have been wavy since morning/ I no go fit take you from nothing.”
The music video was directed by Benny Boom.
He also announced that his new album ‘I Told Them’ will be released soon.

Born Damini Ogulu, Burna Boy started to gain fame after releasing ‘Like to Party’, the lead single from his debut album ‘L.I.F.E’.
In 2021, the singer set a record in Nigeria after his fifth album ‘Twice As Tall’ won the ‘Best World Music Album’ category at the Grammy Awards.
He was also announced as the first African artiste to hit one billion Audiomack streams.
Burna Boy recently performed at the 2023 UEFA Champions League (UCL) final.
