Boy Spyce, the Mavin Records artiste, has come through with his new song titled ‘Folake.’
The singer announced the release of the single via his social media platform on Thursday.
In the song, the ‘Nobody’ crooner talks about a certain Folake whose attitude has changed.
“Folake don pompous/She Don dey drive Brabus so/She no dey talk to us again/She no dey come campus again/Dem say she go do runs/And her hippopo don tamus/And her kini dey cause virus ewe/They just dey tlk jargons/Cos na she dey make my heart beat dey beat parara rara rara,” the lyrics read.
Born Ugbekile Osameke, the songwriter began his music career as a social media sensation making cover versions of popular songs.
In 2022, he was named among the artistes who performed at the Indie Vibe House Party (IVHP).
He signed for Mavin in the same year and released an eponymous EP which included tracks like ‘Nobody’ and ‘Dreams’.
Under the tutelage of the music executive Don Jazzy, Boy Spyce is expected to fully explode into the airwaves in 2023.
