The song was released across several streaming platforms on Thursday — after weeks of teasing.

Fans of both singers started anticipating the remix after Zinoleesky shared a snippet of his verse on an Instagram live stream earlier this year.

Both artistes are among the Next Rated category nominees for the upcoming 15th Headies.

Some fans across social media have suggested that the song would indicate the award’s eventual winner.

‘Kilometre’ was first released in the EP titled ‘Sorry I’m Late’ dropped by BNXN in 2021.

The remix flows through the same framework of sound brilliantly etched by the original with the horns and percussion of the Amapiano crafted by the exponentially talented Rexxie.

In the less than four minutes song, Zinoleesky understands the sonical assignment and rides the rhythm impeccably with his distinct voice and prodigious wordplay. He embraces the concept of “Kilometre” and weaves catchy stings of lyrics elegantly around it.

“Ahh, When I dey on speed mon’ja kilometre/ Kilometer/ Oga ade owo mida/ When I dey with goons we smoke Weed not Shisha/ F*ck shisha/ Iwo burn them no rizzler,” the Agege-born artiste sings.

BNXN, having done the major lifting in the original, does not just rest through the remix. He is ever-present underground adding sonorous adlibs while making statements with a tweak on the outro.

“Wo lana ti mon pa Philomena/ We dey clubbing and my song dey blow speaker ahh/ Bo senjo mo mo pe owo lo fe magba/I come tell her say shey mo jo Adenuga,” BNXN wraps up.
