Bien, the Kenyan singer, has come through with his latest single titled ‘Wahala’.

In the song, the award-winning artiste enlists the help of Nigerian singers Adekunle Gold and ShineTTW.

In a statement shared with TheCable Lifestyle, Bien said ‘Wahala’ is a song celebrating a beautiful woman.

He said the song’s beat is a combination of “Kenyan-inspired drum pattern, South African lock drum vibes and Nigerian percussion”.

The statement also talked about how seamless it was for the trio to work together.

“Wahala’ (meaning trouble/drama) is an explosion of sound, fusing a Kenyan-inspired drum pattern with South African lock drum vibes and infectious Nigerian percussion,” it reads in part.

“Produced by the talented Remy Baggins, the song is a celebration of a beautiful woman, guaranteed to get you moving, with a beat that is addictive, exciting, and dance-driven.

“… the two kings emphasized how seamless the process was. In the words of Bien, “Any time a king from the East meets a king from the West, it is Wahala”. Adekunle Gold reiterated this adding that, “Making this song with my brother was such an enjoyable process.”

Bien, born Bien-Aime Baraza, started his career in 2005 when he created a band with his friends.

After 20 years with his band, he started his solo career. Since then, Bien has continued to be a household name in the industry.

Adekunle Gold, on the other hand, rose to fame with the release of his hit song ‘Sade’.

Throughout his career, Gold has received numerous awards and recognition for his talent.

Born Chukwuma Chinaza Ferdinand, ShineTTW (Shine To The World) hails from Anambra state.

He has also carved a niche for himself with his innovative blend of Nigerian R&B and pop.
