Basketmouth, Nigerian comedian cum musician, has teamed up with 2Baba and Blaqbonez for the delivery of ‘Trouble,’ his much anticipated single.

The song was released in the early hours of Thursday alongside its visuals.

In the visuals, the trio could be seen sitting on chairs in a clubhouse, discussing the altercation that had ensued after a couple of men accused them of trying to take their ladies.

“One time, me and basket chilling, dey mind our business (on a low-key p) | Dey count our progress | Dey pef and converse | Like everybody, we dey observe… | How this thing dey concern me | You con hear don dey accuse me, say I come here come thief person lady, see me see trouble,” they sang in Pidgin.

On October 14, Basketmouth signed a music deal with Empire, an independent label, which also handles music licensing and distribution.

The 43-year-old entertainer thereafter enlisted Buju for the visuals of ‘Your Body,’ the first track from ‘Horoscope,’ his upcoming album.

In November 2020, the ace stand-up comedian released ‘Yabasi’, a soundtrack album for ‘Papa Benji’, his comedy series.

The album featured artistes like Ladipoe, BOJ, The Cavemen, Bez, Waje, Duncan Mighty, Flavour, and Phyno.
