Banky W, the Nigerian singer, has come through with ‘The Bank Statements’, his much-awaited extended play (EP).
The music star announced the song’s release on Thursday — which happens to be his fourth wedding anniversary with Adesua Etomi, his wife.
Songs on the seven-track project are ‘Welcome to the Bank Statements’, ‘Jo‘, ‘Song for You’, Press Restart’, ‘Selense’, ‘My Destiny’ and ‘Talk and Do’.
In an Instagram post to mark their wedding anniversary, Banky W described his wife as his “everything.”
“You’re my song, my rhymes, my heart, my light, my muse, my melody, my everything, my wife. I’ll be writing about you for the rest of my life, because you’re the best of my life,” he wrote.
“I love you now more than ever. I’ll love you 4ever. Happy anniversary shuga.”
On her part, the actress said Banky W means the world to her, adding that without him, she would be living in ‘black and white.”
“You will always be my favourite part of me’. Without you, I’d be living in black and white’. Baby daddy, my zaddy, you mean the world to me. Happy 4th year anniversary Bubba. I love you. Forever. Truly, madly, deeply,” she wrote.
In 2017, Banky W tied the knot with Etomi at a decorated wedding ceremony in South Africa and welcomed their first child together in February this year.
