Ayodele Mafoluku, the fast-rising Nigerian artiste fondly called Ayo Maff, has put out a new extended play (EP) titled ‘Maffian’.

The seven-track project was released on all streaming platforms in the early hours of Friday.

In a social media post, Ayo Maff revealed that the project is dedicated to his fans who believed in him.

“Shout-out to all the Maffians out there. You all stood by me despite the fact that I was yet to convince you,” he wrote on X.

“But you believed in me. You all are the best. #MaffianEP is for you all.”

The body of work includes tracks like ‘A Beautiful Song’, ‘Are You There?’, ‘7 Lives’, and ‘8 Days’.

Other songs on the EP are ‘2 Dollar’, ‘Go Back’, and ‘Last Week’.

The project was released following the success of Ayo Maff’s hit single ‘Dealer’ featuring Fireboy DML.

In ‘Maffian’, the singer’s experience of early transitioning to adulthood makes for emotional listening.

However, his assurance about being predestined for greatness also manifests: “I’ve been here before I was born,” he sings on ‘Are you there?’.

Ayo Maff was born and raised in Bariga, Lagos state.
