Idowu Babatunde, the fast-rising Nigerian singer better known as RBC, has come through with his debut extended play (EP) titled ‘Responsible Bhard Child’.
The five-track body of work was released on Friday.
The tracks in the project include ‘Intro‘, ‘Who Dey Breathe?‘, ‘Heavy On Peace,’ ‘Level Up,’ and ‘Way Too Rough.’
RBC also featured the expertise of music star Seyi Vibez and Diamond Jimma, Afro-pop singer, in the EP.
Speaking with TheCable Lifestyle about the project, RBC said it was inspired by his personal experiences and emotions at a specific moment.
He described the EP’s creative process as one of “vulnerability and reflection” to connect with his listeners.
RBC said the body of works is to establish “an honest conversation” with his audience.
“It was a journey of vulnerability and reflection, where I pushed myself creatively and aimed to connect deeply with listeners,” he said.
“Ultimately, I wanted the EP to feel like an honest conversation and a snapshot of where I was emotionally during that time.”
The ‘Responsible Bhard Child’ EP also explores self-discovery, growth, and love themes, aiming to connect deeply with listeners.
The tracks in the project were produced by ENTA.
