Made Kuti, the fast-rising Afrobeat singer, has aimed a dig at Peter Okoye, the Psquare star, over a recent comment on his family.
Seun Kuti, who is Made’s uncle, and Okoye have been engaging in a heated war of words on Instagram.
The drama began when Seun called Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), an “opportunist” in an interview.
But Okoye, who had endorsed Obi ahead of this month’s election, vented his anger at Seun.
The Psquare star said he would keep praying for Seun while asking him to learn to be “well guided and clean” from Made.
But in a thinly-veiled response, Made, the grandson of Fela Kuti, the late Afrobeat icon, warned Okoye not to involve him in the online squabble related to his family.
He also averred that, “we stay united as a family.”
“Good afternoon. Please do not use me as a tool to slight, insult, or badmouth my Uncle. I’m not sure how we are perceived so I should clarify we stay united as a family and we intend on keeping it that way. Thank you,” he wrote via Twitter.
